Job Description
1. POSITIONS VACANT: HR Consultant, International Not-for-Profit Organization, Delhi.
2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Public Health HR Consultant to support the development, implementation, and ongoing support of a Human Resource Management System (HRMS). The consultant will provide expertise in HR process optimization, system development input, implementation coordination, and post-go-live support to ensure the system meets business needs and aligns with best HR practices. She/he will be responsible for the following tasks:
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in HR operations, data management, and employee lifecycle processes;
(2) Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and document functional requirements for the HRMS;
(3) Ensure all HR modules (e.g., Recruitment, Onboarding, Staff Data Management,Training, Employee transition, Exit etc.) are properly scoped and designed;
(4) Support the development of a detailed HRMS implementation roadmap, including key milestones and timelines;
(5) Coordinate with technical teams, internal HR teams, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of the implementation plan;
(6) Develop and coordinate testing plans, including unit testing, user acceptance testing and issue tracking;
(7) Identify and document bugs, workflow issues, or missing functionalities;
(8) Work with developers or vendors to resolve issues and ensure system readiness;
(9) Provide go-live support to troubleshoot issues and support end users during the transition period;
(10) Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement;
(11) Recommend enhancements or customizations to better align with evolving HR Needs;
(12) Any other work assigned by the supervisor;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience
(1) The applicant must have a postgraduate Degree/ Diploma in Human Resources;
(2) The applicant should have 2–3 years of proven professional experience in HR process design, implementation, and operational management of Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS);
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Familiarity with leading HRMS platforms;
(2) Strong project management and communication skills;
(3) Understanding of HR compliance and data privacy standards;
(4) Excellent oral and written communication skills;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The total consultancy fee budgeted for this assignment, for a duration of six months, is up to INR 3,60,000/-

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant for a total duration of six months. The consultancy assignment shall be full-time, with an initial engagement period of one month through SAMS, acting as a third-party payrolling agency. This engagement shall be extended for an additional five months, either with SAMS or another designated agency.
The contract may be further extended beyond six months, subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements. It is expressly clarified that this consultancy arrangement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment with SAMS, the client, or any other organization associated with the project.
