1. POSITIONS VACANT: Data Associate, International Not-for-Profit Organization (INPO), Pune, Maharashtra.
2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Data Associate (DA) will be responsible for the following tasks:
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Coordinate with field team members for timely collection, collation, compilation and dissemination of data pertaining to assigned projects.;
(2) Work under the guidance of Supervisor to develop data management system in field;
(3) Verify accuracy of the data by performing periodic data quality checks; prepare and submit reports to the supervisor;
(4) Assist in data collection and conduct field visits for follow-up assessments as needed;
(5) Conduct/ support trainings of the data record reporters of the project facilities as needed.;
(6) Develop and maintain database for capturing the project data and maintenance of queries and programs for analysis and related reports;
(7) Support supervisor in analysing data, developing dashboards and generating relevant graphs and information;
(8) Work with team members in various projects to ensure efficient data utilization system;
(9) Under the overall guidance of Supervisor, develop relevant dashboards for effective data visualization;
(10) Support IT associate in proper implementation of digital technology in targeted geography.;
(11) Coordinate with ICDS/FOGSI/Health department for data collection and analysis;
(12) Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience
(1) Applicants must have post-graduate in any discipline;
(2) Minimum of three years of experience in compiling and analysing Public Health Data at State/National level;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Working experience in development of Data Management Tools for Public Health Data is desirable;
(2) Working experience with government data portals (HMIS, RCH portal, ANMOL etc.) is desirable;
(3) Working experience of Advance Excel with Macro Programming is desirable;
(4) Those with knowledge of Microsoft Access, epicollect, SPSS or any other open source software will be preferred;
(5) Ability and experience of training field teams on data collection and data collation;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The overall consultancy fee budgeted for the assignment is INR 3,00,000/- (for the period of Five months Per Month INR 60,000/-).
6. LOCATION: Pune, Maharashtra

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of five months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
