Job Description

1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant-Manyata, International Not-for-Profit Organization, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

 

2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:

 

Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.

 

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Consultant for Manyata will be key in engaging private healthcare facilities under the Manyata 5.0 initiative. S/he will focus on outreach, onboarding, and facilitating the quality improvement (QI) journey for private sector hospitals, supporting their progress toward Manyata certification. S/he shall be responsible for the following:

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

 

(1) Private Sector Facility Engagement & Outreach:
(a) Conduct targeted outreach to private hospitals and maternity care facilities to create awareness and generate demand for Manyata (re)certification within and outside the Manyata Facility network;

(b) Facilitate one-on-one meetings, virtual sessions, and in-person discussions with hospital leadership to drive enrolment;

(c) Leverage existing professional networks, industry bodies, and healthcare associations to maximize engagement;

(d) Address facility concerns, provide program clarifications, and support seamless onboarding into the Manyata program;

 

(2) Onboarding & QI Support:
(a) Assist facilities in registering for Manyata certification, ensuring timely and complete payment of registration fees to FOGSI;

(b) Provide guidance and mentorship to the engaged CSE in streamlining their QI support systems ensuring adherence to Manyata standards;

(c) Support facilities in self-assessments, digital platform navigation, and compliance with QI activities;

(d) Work collaboratively with CSEs, Jhpiego, and other Manyata Ecosystem Partners to ensure engaged facilities effectively progress toward certification;

 

(3) Reporting & Coordination:
(a) Maintain accurate records of engaged facilities, including their status, progress, and key milestones;

(b) Provide periodic reports on facility engagement, outreach effectiveness, and enrollment numbers;

(c) Work in close coordination with Manyata implementation partners, CSEs, and governing bodies to align engagement strategies with Manyata’s objectives;

 

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

 

Qualifications and Experience

(1) Applicant must have an MBBS and Master of Surgery;
(2) At least 30 years of working experience;

 

Skills and Competencies:
(1) Quality in Maternal Care;

 

5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The Manyata certification Consultancy fee INR 10,000/- per facility total facility 100) Consultant CTC for 6 months INR 10,00,000/- (Fee will be given on actual bases of Manyata Certification) (consultancy +M&IE +Stay+ travel).

 

6. LOCATION: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

 

7. REFERENCE: CM-L-INPO

 

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:

 

The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of six months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
