1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant - International Not-for-Profit Organization, New Delhi.

 

2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:

 

Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.

 

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to define key competencies for various nursing roles;
(2) Identify competency gaps in different nursing roles within the healthcare sector in coordination with the team and stakeholders;

(3) Work with stakeholders to design learning resources tailored to the scope of work for each nursing role;

(4) Assist in the design and development of robust tools to assess clinical competencies across nursing roles;

(5) Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate assessment tools for effectiveness and accuracy;

(6) Engage with academic institutions and healthcare facilities to gather inputs and ensure alignment with practice needs;

(7) Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, based on organizational needs;

 

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

 

Qualifications and Experience
(1) Applicant must have Graduate-level qualification in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) is required, a Postgraduate Degree in Nursing, Public Health, or Healthcare Management is preferred.;
(2) At least 3 years of experience in academics, clinical training, or public health programs with a reputed institution;

 

Skills and Competencies:
(1) Proven experience and knowledge in developing training modules and delivering clinical training for healthcare professionals.;
(2) Demonstrated expertise in academic curriculum development and understanding of the clinical scope of nursing practice;

(3) Strong leadership, strategic thinking, organizational, and representational skills;

(4) Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi;

(5) Ability to work with diverse technical team;

(6) Ability to multi-task and work in multicultural environment;

(7) Ability to handle a variety of assignments under the pressure of deadlines;

(8) Proficiency in computers – Microsoft Office;

(9) Ability and willingness to travel up to 50 % of his/her time;

 

5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The overall consultancy fee budgeted for the assignment, for the period of three months, is INR 3,00,000/-.

 

6. LOCATION: New Delhi

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:

 

The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of three months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
