Job Description
1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant - Data Entry Operator, International Not-for-Profit Organization (INPO), Gurdaspur & Tarn Taran, Punjab.

Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Consultant - Data Entry Operator at Gurdaspur & Tarn Taran, Punjab will be responsible for timely and accurate data entry in the designated application for all women admitted in the labor room. The role includes capturing client information during intrapartum, postpartum care, and discharge, ensuring complete, reliable, and confidential documentation in line with project and facility protocols. The position will support labor room staff (ANMs, Staff Nurses, MOs) in maintaining updated digital records to improve quality of maternal health services will be responsible for following work;
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Enter client details and service data into the labor room application during admission, intrapartum monitoring, delivery, postpartum period, and discharge;
(2) Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of entries for each case;
(3) Coordinate with labor room staff (ANMs, Nurses, MOs) to collect information for data entry;
(4) Maintain confidentiality of client records and adhere to data protection guidelines;
(5) Generate and share reports (daily/weekly/monthly) as required for monitoring and review;
(6) Identify and escalate application-related issues (technical errors, access problems, missing fields, etc.) to the supervisor;
(7) Support labor room staff in basic navigation of the application if needed;
(8) Safely store and manage digital/physical records related to the data entered;
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Applicants must be Graduate in any discipline with a Diploma/ Certificate in Computer Applications (preferred);
(3) Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry, preferably in health programs;
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Good typing speed and accuracy in both English and local language;
(2) Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel) and data entry software/applications;
(3) Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with attention to detail;
(4) Good communication skills to coordinate with healthcare staff;
(5) Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of patient information;
5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The compensation remuneration will be INR 60/- case entry;
6. NUMBER OF VACANCIES: 02 Vacancies (01 Gurdaspur & 01 Tarn Taran)

9. NATURE OF CONTRACT:
The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of six months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
