Program Overview – FiT Families Together:
The FiT program (launched in 2022) focuses on family strengthening to prevent the unnecessary separation of children from their families. It aims to reintegrate children into safe family settings and empowers communities to care for their own through a 10-domain “Circle of Care and Protection” framework.
Role Overview – Assistant Manager (Case Manager):
The Case Manager will work closely with families and communities, conducting holistic assessments, developing personalised case plans, facilitating access to services, and monitoring progress. The role emphasises community engagement, system convergence, and long-term sustainability of support for vulnerable children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and create comprehensive case plans.
Coordinate access to social protection schemes and essential services.
Regularly monitor progress through visits and updates.
Build community-based sustainability and exit strategies.
Maintain case files and ensure timely documentation and reporting.
Partner with stakeholders, including government bodies, NGOs, and service providers
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields
Minimum 2 years’ experience in child welfare, case management, or community development
Strong knowledge of child protection laws and welfare schemes
Proficient in basic Excel, documentation tools, and AI-supported data entry
Fluency in Hindi and strong written English skills
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and mediation skills
Compassionate, patient, and trauma-informed approach
Willingness to commit long-term (minimum 3 years preferred)
