Job Description

1. POSITIONS VACANT: Consultant, International Not-for-Profit Organization (INPO), Remote.

 

2. ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND:

 

Our client is a respected international not-for-profit, that works in public health, to improve the health of disadvantaged communities, across the globe.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Consultant will be responsible for the following work;

 

Key Job Responsibilities: 

 

(1) Review and analyze the newly provided Hemoglobinometer SDK and technical documentation;

(2) Design and develop integration with the existing SDK structure while maintaining modularity;

(3) Implement communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth) for seamless device pairing and data acquisition;

(4) Standardize data format and APIs so that Hemoglobinometer data is compatible with the existing SDK framework;

(5) Ensure backward compatibility and minimal disruption to existing device integrations;

(6) Conduct testing and validation of the integrated SDK across supported platforms;


4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications and Experience:

(1) Applicants must be Bachelor of Science in Information Technology;
(2) At least 1-2 years experience in developing SDKs, API and other Softwares for Weighing Scale Hardware, experience in scaling businesses from the ground up, with a notable career in the publishing and mobile media industries;

Skills and Competencies:

(1) Business Development & Management, P&L Management, Strategic Planning, Use of IT skills in public health;


5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The consultancy fee budgeted for the position is INR 32,775/-.

7. NATURE OF CONTRACT:

 

The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of one month. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
