3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
The Consultant - Nursing who will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the Simulation centre at Sajjalashree Institute of Nursing Sciences, Bagalkot – Karnataka, S/he will be responsible for the below mentioned;

Key Job Responsibilities: 

(1) Oversee the progress and provide support for the establishment of the simulation and competency certification center;
(2) Review and develop learning resource packages, job aids, and assessment tools for nursing education;

(3) Plan, coordinate, organize, and manage the daily operations of the simulation center in collaboration with the team;

(4) Coordinate and liaise with key stakeholders of the Simulation Centre;

(5) Organize meetings, workshops, training sessions, conferences, webinars, etc;

(6) Collaborate with the monitoring, evaluation, and research team to plan and regularly monitor program data;

(7) Document learnings, including process documentation, training and workshop reports, meeting minutes, and success stories;

(8) Travel to states/districts as per organizational requirements;

(9) Perform other activities assigned by the supervisor to achieve organizational goals;

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications and Experience:

(1) Applicants must be Master’s degree in nursing (M.Sc. Nursing) from a recognized institution;
(2) At least 3 years of experience in clinical practice or nursing education;

Skills and Competencies:

(1) Formal training in simulation-based education and prior experience in managing or working in a simulation centre is desirable;

(2) Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) instructors are preferred;

(3) Strong attention to detail to ensure that all project tasks are completed accurately and efficiently;

(4) Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;

(5) Proficiency in both written and spoken English;

5. CONSULTANCY FEE: The compensation for the position is competitive and shall be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and salary history.

6. LOCATION: Bagalkot, Karnataka

8. NATURE OF CONTRACT:

The selected candidate shall be engaged as a Consultant on the rolls of SAMS, a third-party payrolling agency, for a full-time consultancy engagement initially offered for a period of six months. The contract is extendable based on performance and project requirements. It is explicitly clarified that this consultancy engagement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of future employment, with SAMS, or our client, or any other organization associated with the project.
